Clear Crystal Icons The latest release includes an app for installing/uninstalling this complete set of Mac OS X system graphics.You can download it from the Mars Themes "Icons" page and use it freely, with or without Crystal Black. The Clear Crystal Icon Set was designed for use with Crystal Black. System Graphics This download can be used to install/uninstall the graphics for Snow Leopard and for Lion 10.7.4 or 10.7.5.In addition, if you want to download the basic system graphic resources for Crystal Black, those are also available for free: Safari's Web Inspector Note: Needs to be updated to work best with Safari 5.x.Crystal Black for iTunes This release can be used with iTunes 10.1-10.6, on Snow Leopard, Lion, and Mountain Lion.You can download these from the Mars Themes "Skins" page. Still, I released three standalone implementations of Crystal Black that work fine without the theme as a whole. The elements themselves are beautiful, but not practical without the underlying software that makes the theme work. The Crystal Black Theme provides superior usability for its glossy black interface elements. How come? With Crystal Black, you can make toolbar items display large or small, with text or without, just as you can with all other toolbars. By default, the toolbars of an application's Preferences window can't be customized. If app updates overwrite Crystal Black's custom graphics, you can easily reinstall CB's graphics to keep the theme looking spick and span. iTunes and Safari both offer a high-contrast style that may appeal to those who love working in the dark.Fresh lets you double the number of items at your disposal,.Mail now lets you split the message view vertically,.Four of them-Mail, Fresh, iTunes and Safari-appear in the CB Preferences panel: There are a few apps I've taught to behave a bit different than they're used to. Clear or opaque? With Crystal Black, you can choose between having semi-transparent windows and views, or making everything opaque-the default on Mac OS X.Crystal Black now incorporates the recently released " Crystal NIBs for SecurityAgent" app, which lets you quickly switch out the default style for either HUD or metal. HUD or metal style for the Authentication panel.A handy feature passed down from CCI, you can find these tools in Crystal Black's global menu or in a contextual menu that shows up wherever you're editing rich text.
